Steps You Can Take to Protect Yourself:

What is the primary risk to me right now?

The main risk is phishing and social engineering. Attackers may use your name, email, and phone number to pose as Tanggo or another trusted entity to trick you into giving them your password or other confidential information. Remember: We (Tanggo / DIGI Smart Disc, Inc.) will never contact you by email or phone to ask for your information.

Should I change my password?

While your password was not compromised, it is always a good security practice to change your password for any service where you may use a similar email address or name, especially high-value accounts like your bank or primary email.

How can I identify a fake email or scam call?

Remember: We (Tanggo / DIGI Smart Disc, Inc.) will never contact you by email or phone to ask for sensitive information like your password, credit card details, or two-factor codes. Always look for these signs: * Check the sender’s full email address. * Do not click links in suspicious emails. * If a message asks you to log in, type the official tanggo.net website address directly into your browser.

What should I do if I receive a suspicious call or text?

Do not engage. Hang up immediately, or do not respond to the text. You can report the suspicious activity by emailing us at admin@tanggo.net.

What else can I do to protect my accounts?

Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on all your important accounts (email, social media, banking). MFA adds an essential layer of security that relies on your phone, making it much harder for attackers to log in.
